Photos to come when camera charged up...
I've decided to review Paris eating establishments from the vegetarian/pescatarian point of view. Tonight I dined at a place in the heart of 'Place D'Italie' where I had a glass of pinot noir, an open faced grilled sandwich of emmenthal, camembert and goat cheese, and espresso for 16 euros. The food was fine, but the waiter was so French, that he has set a bar that will be difficult for other French waiters to meet. He only spoke to me in English (though I only spoke to him in French), he was scoping the women coming up from the metro the entire time he was taking orders, delivering food, making change (this was on a patio), and his hair was slicked back all greasy like as though he were an even Frencher caricature of himself. Oh Paris.
